The Cyril M. Leeder Prize in Urban Design
The Cyril M. Leeder Prize is awarded annually
to students making an outstanding contribution to Urban Design who are either
in their third or fourth years of the Bachelor of Architecture program or in
their first year of the Masters program. The Prize will be awarded following a

(A notice of intent to compete must be filed with
the School of Architecture together with a declaration of urban design
principles (an 800 word text) written and signed by the student(s) and
countersigned by her/his lecturer or studio head or critic. In addition,
students will submit a board of concept drawings (A3 format) and a small
massing model together with a CD or DVD containing all their work. Students may
form teams of not more than three
persons and may use either a workshop or studio project in-progress. Submission
of the notice of intent to compete with the declaration of urban design
principles must be submitted no later than 3 p.m. March 31st, 2006
