Honey B's CPM and Design Test

You may do this assignment in teams of two to four.

Design an inexpensive modification of the Honey B's Chip Truck to create a character based on the Honey Bee or such other character as is suggested by the name Honey B's. Note you may not change the name as it is bad luck to change the name of a ship of chip truck!

Honey B's is named after the wife of the original owner, Don Williams. Don is a professional clown and his wife, Beatrice, is a lovely, gray haired, cherubic lady in middle age. Don is a short, round character with a happy demeanor who is very much in love with Beatrice and he named his truck for his 'Honey B'. You may use the story of Don and Beatrice as a theme for your design if you wish.

The class will play a version of 'Survivor' by voting on each design until we have a winner.

The winning design will obtain two tickets to a Sens Game in the Founders' Suite at the Corel Centre courtesy of the lecturer.

To be eligible, the winner must have completed the CPM and correctly identified the critical path of the project.

An aerial photo of the site is available. You may also wish to see the site plan for NOW (New Ottawa Water) Park.

Here is one of the images of the Honey B's Chip Wagon redesigned by the student team of Brian Ng, Edward Hsieh, Loi Quach, Vinus Van. This imaginative image of the Chip Truck derives from the connection of acquatic life (a blowfish) and the New Ottawa Water Park initiative. This bold and striking image would become a lasting attraction and a celebrated character for the theme park.
