Ø      Aurora has an objective of N = ? clients by the end of 2003.

Ø      Put up a tote board where everyone can see it with N = (whatever goal you have established for 2003).

Ø      Aurora can form potential alliances with ?

Ø      Intelligent agents can generate a potential client list from Ottawa area web sites which have broken links, for example.

Ø      Follow the 'trail of bad web marketing' back to the source so at least they are warm calls.

Ø      Prototype sites with preliminary concepts to show to these prospective clients.

Ø      Develop an external referral program where existing clients help you find new ones.

Ø      Upsell existing clients.

Ø      Get testimonials from existing clients and put them on your web site.

Ø      Add a self serve, web site survey where people can score their own sites to generate warm leads (if they score high, (i.e., if their web site is really poor) they need your help).  For some sample questions, click here.

Ø      Issue a media release about your firm stressing your high trust strategy and client selection.

Ø      Develop a newsletter.

Ø      Use the six degrees of separation.

Ø      Position yourselves as consultants not sales people - you are there to help—you are buying on their behalf.

Ø      Put a section on your site or advertising saying "one free hour consultation".

Ø      Stay within industry types you already have some traction and offer them similar solutions.

Ø      Join Community Associations/Organizations/Chambers of Commerce/Service Clubs/Trade Associations/Entrepreneur Organizations.

Ø      Entertain.

Ø      Keep in touch with your School Alumni.

Ø      Volunteer/Do Charity Work.

Ø      Read Local and Community Newspapers for Announcements, ....

Ø      Get a coach, mentor.
