Guerrilla Marketing—Note
how Ryan North gets a photo of T-Rex to appear with his URL.
Find out how to do it yourself. See below.

The icon is not tricky. You need to do two things to
get it there for most web browsers. All you need is an icon file (.ico) that's 16x16. Put this in your root web
directory as favicon.ico and that takes care of
Internet Explorer!
For FireFox and the rest you just
need to add
<LINK REL="SHORTCUT ICON" HREF="http://www.yourdomain.com/favicon.ico">
to
the head portion of your html and you're set. Not too difficult!
The head portion begins with <head> and ends with </head> and is in
most HTML documents. You can view source on qwantz.com to see how it's
done.
