EXAMPLE—THE DENTIST

Here is a pretty cool tag line for a dentist:

"We Cater to Cowards."

It's corny but it works. An amazing number of patients look at their Yellow Pages Ad and say to themselves, “that's the dentist for me!”

Their marketing consists of:

a) Referrals,

b) Yellow Pages,

c) Their tag line.

They have no website of their own. They didn't even know if they are on YellowPages.ca (they are: http://www.yellowpages.ca/business/0,0/1176460.html?what=Kenneth%20Ostrega&where=ottawa%20on&how=onlyonefound&pstype=si#DisplayAd).

After word-of-mouth, the tag line is their single biggest generator of new clients.
